While our lives are often fast, our food doesn’t have to be.

 

Crisp Market is a brand extension concept for Walmart. This idea provides a large corporation the opportunity to partner with their communities on a local level, while supporting unity in neighborhoods across the country.

In this partnership Walmart teams up with Slow Food USA. The Slow Food Movement is based on the ideas that food should be good, clean and fair. Crisp Market’s mission is to build cooperation between the food chain and the people and communities it serves. In cultivating joyful connections to community and place, Crisp Market is dedicated to food that is local, seasonal and sustainably grown. Pop-up markets will appear in cities across the nation stocked with only the freshest produce sourced from local farmers. These markets will connect communities and promote unity on a local level.
